Sanyo will release in January 2009 the LP-XTC50 projector that features the Industry’s First “lamp selection system”. The system offers 6,000 hours of projection, or twice as long as conventional one-lamp models. Sanyo’s LP-XTC50 comes with two lamps and the lamp selection system will select one of them to project from, and switches based on user preference or on preprogrammed settings.

Korean company Datamore has created the Porte, stylish and interresting HDD enclosure. The Porte is available in two versions, one with only USB and the other with both USB and eSATA ports.

Samsung launches in Canada the Cleo QWERTY clamshell phone that comes with a stylish design. The fat Samsung Cleo features a color LCD display, an external display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, integrated music player and support for external memory (microSD?) up to 8GB.

Seabright SBE-PC430 is an ultra small laptop from China. This UMPC comes with no keyboard but a D-pad and four button, which is more like a portable gaming device. You have the option, though, to connect an external keyboard.

Seabright SBE-PC430 is powered by a Samsung 2443A 533MHZ processor, 128MB of RAM, 1GB to 4GB of flash memory. It features a 4.3-inch 480×272 LCD display and runs WinCE 5.0 OS.

Sony has previsously introduced its BrightEra LCD projectors and now the company has launched the VPL-FX41, VPL-FX40 and VPL-FE40 BrightEra projectors to the market.

The VPL-FE40 can deliver 1400×1050 SXGA+ resolution while the VPL-FX41 and VPL-FX40 can show 1024×768 XGA images. As for brightness, VPL-FX41 5,200 lumens and the VPL-FX40 and VPL-FE40 models offer 4,000 lumens.
