BenQ launches in Taiwan its new E55 3G mobile phone. The BenQ E55 is a clamshell with a 2-inch TFT LCD main display, a 1-inch CSTN LCD external display, a 2 Megapixel camera, a 0.3 Megapixel secondary camera for video calls.

VF Portugal has launched a new mobility proposition called NetPC, which consists of a "Vodafone Connect" Pen, and an Ultra-compact Laptop (is that a UCLP?!). The hardware consists of a EeePC701 Laptop, and USB Modem, allowing surfing up to 7.2Mbps. The version that VF is pushing is the GUI-Linux EeePC that we've reported on before, but there's also a Windows XP version available.

Ericsson goes HSPA
