DXG USA introduces another budget priced high definition digital camcorder, the DXG-595V. The camcorder comes with a 8 Megapixel sensor and is able to record 1920×1080 Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. DXG-595V offers 5x optical zoom and a 3-inch LCD display.

Casio announced in Japan two new Exilim Zoom slim digital cameras, the EX-Z300 and EX-Z250. Both of them have a 4x optical zoom lens with 28mm wide angle and 4x digital zoom. The Exilim Zoom EX-Z300 comes with a 10 Megapixel image sensor while the EX-Z250 has 9.14 Megapixel sensor.

Tamron has developed the AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO (Model B003) lens, which is the first DSLR lens to offers 15X Zoom, which is 35mm28-419mm equivalent. The lens comes with the tri-axial Vibration Compensation (VC) mechanism to eliminates or substantially reduces the effects of handheld camera shake.

Fujifilm’s Canada website leaked the yet to be annonounced FinePix S2000HD digital camera. The FinePix S2000HD features a 10 Megapixel 1/2.3-inch CCD image sensor, a 15x optical zoom lens, ISO up to 6400, dual image stabilization and a 2.7-inch LCD display. S2000HD is able to capture 1280×720 720p HD videos.

While Hasselblad offers the H3DII-50 50 Megapixel camera and Phase One offers the P65+ 60 Megapixel camera, Leaf introduces the 56 Megapixel AFi 10 camera. The Leaf AFi features a 56×36 mm CCD image sensor with 9288 x 6000 active pixel, ISO sensitivity ranging from 50-800, and up to 1 minutes of exposure time.

Sanyo announced its new Xacti DMX-HD800, a sleek, slim HD digital movie camera. The Xacti HD800 features a 1/2.5 inch 8 Megapixel CMOS sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens, 12x digital zoom, Digital Image Stabilizer (electronic), ISO sensitivity up to 1600, and a 2.7-inch LCD screen.

Pentax announced the new Optio E60 compact digital camera, replacinging the Optio E50. The Optio E60 is a 10 Megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, Face Recognition, Auto Picture, and High Sensitivity Digital Shake Reduction.

Sony presents the DCR-SR45 Handycam digital camcorder that comes with a 30GB hard drive. The Sony DCR-SR45 features a 1/8? 680k pixel Advanced HAD CCD Imager, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 40x optical zoom lens, and 2000x digital zoom. It comes with an integrated zoom microphone for 5.1ch voice recording and a 2.7-inch LCD touchscreen display.
