LG has launched the catchy-named LG HB620T, which those square-eyed may be interested to know is a DVB-T digital TV phone. It is available in Europe. The phone uses DVB-T rather than the mobile designed DVB-H signal which means it works in exactly the same way as a domestic Freeview box.

AT&T and MediaFLO announced the May 4 availability of the AT&T Mobile TV with FLO service. AT&T is introducing the LG Vu and the Samsung Access which can be used for the mobile TV service.

Samsung announced the first DVB-H compatible cellphone for Europe that is available in a slider form factor. The new SGH-P960 shows TV programming on a bright 262k color, 2.6" DNIe display, and sports a number of advanced features. One of the more novel mobile TV related features found on the P960 is its DVR-like time shifting function that will pause live television programming when a call comes in so that users can avoid missing their favorite shows. The TV viewer app on the P960 also supports picture in picture viewing and an on-screen electronic service guide.

We have spotted Eten’s glofiish (again not Goldfish) V900 PDA phone. The V900 is Windows Mobile 6.1 powered and support mobile TV standards, like DVB-H, DAB, T-DMB. V900 features a Samsung 6400 533MHz processor, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM. You can find a 480×640 touch screen, integrated GPS, and FM Tuner. V900 is a 3G phone with HSDPA support.

LG Vu is a iPhone-like mobile phone with a 3-inch LCD full touch display. The Vu supports Qualcomm MediaFlo technology for mobile TV. The phone uses the same UI as the Glimmer, offered by Alltel.

Motorola announces the new DH02 mobile TV, which is to succeed the DH01. The Motorola DH02 is a DVB-H-enabled mobile TV with a touchscreen display which can do “auto-flip” portrait to landscape.

It features a GPS receiver and Tele Atlas maps and HSDPA/GPRS support.
