IO-Data introduces in Japan the GV-MACTV, a digital TV Tuner for Mac. This so-called Mac TV digital TV makes use of USB 2.0 to connect to our Mac. The GV-MCTV can receive terrestrial digital broadcasting signals and bring HD TV shows to your Mac.

Celrun, a Korean company, introduces the LLUON A1, a PC/IPTV combo. The LLUON A1 is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. It comes with a DVD Multi burner and a 18.4-inch 1680×954 resolution.

Not only a PC, the LLUON A1 is also a TV as well as an IPTV. It is available only in Korea.

Like the movie Terminator, you may want to get this Terminator Head, which is not a toy but a DVD player. According to a commenter over toxel, this Terminator Head DVD player is released by Suntory in Japan in 2003 with the movie Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

Hitachi is launching on 12nd September the 37-inch P37-HR02 Plasma HDTV. The Hitachi P37-HR02 features a resolution of 1024×768, 15,000:1 contrast ratio, iVDR module, integrated digital TV tuner, and a 250GB integrated hard drive for recording. It has HDMI interface.

Tascam introduces the GT-R1, a handheld recording device that is also a Guitar Trainer for guitarists. Tascam GT-R1 is a stereo recorder that can record in 16-bit or 24-bit WAV or in MP3 format to SD and SDHC memory card. And of course it supports playback of WAV and MP3 formats.

Victor/JVC introduces new XA-M series to its Alneo portable music player lineup. The Aleno XA-M is available in 3 models, the 4GB XA-M40, 2GB XA-M20 and 1GB XA-M10. The XA-M series supports MP3, WMA, WMA-DRM10 and WAV audio formats. They feature FM tuner, 6-line Organic EL display, 3.5mW ? 3.5mW output, and USB 2.0 connectivity.

Toshiba offers in Japan the SD-590J DVD player. This DVD player supports HDMI output and upscaling DVD to 1080p images. It has 192kHz/24-bit audio DACs and 54 MHz/14-Bit video DAC. Other than DVD discs, the SD-590J supports also DivX video, MP3/WMA music and JPEG images.
