AT&T is going to launch the Samsung a237, an entry-level clamshell mobile phone. The entry-level a237 cellphone supports GSM/EDGE network. It has a color main display and an external display, a integrated camera and Bluetooth.

Samsung introduces the U800 Soulb candy-bar few months ago. Now, the U800 is in Pink fighting breast cancer. For each Pink U800 sold, Samsung is donating GBP 10 to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer foundation. Like the original U800, the Pink version supports the 3G/HSDPA/quad-band GSM network.

Samsung adds two models to its Q1 UMPC line up, the Q1UP-V and Q1U-CMXP. The Samsung Q1UP-V is a U1 Ultra Premium running the Windows Vista Business OS. It is powered by an Intel Core Solo U1500 1.33GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth and 10/100 BaseTX LAN connectivity.

Samsung offers in Korea the SCH-M470 slider mobile phone. Other than WCDMA support the M470 supports the HSUPA high speed data technology. It features a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, WiFi and support for push email. It is available in Korea for 600,000 Korean Won.

Samsung has anounced its i740 smartphone. As expected, it will lack 3G support and Wi-Fi, instead it will offer EDGE, GPS, a 3.2Mpix camera, FM radio and other nice stuff. Nevertheless, if you like the i740 you'll be able to get it for €300 ($469) when it launches in Europe in October.

While we're still not sure if the Samsung Blackjack III will ever come to AT&T, the company has already released the phone in their home market. Available from SK Telecom, the Blackjack III costs 600,000 won (about $592), and has the following features: Windows Mobile 6 Professional OS; 320 x 320 touchscreen display; HSDPA; Wi-Fi; GPS; 2Mpix camera

Samsung has released a modified version of the F480 model called D988 in China. As I said, it has two SIM card slots, doesn't support 3G, and integrates a 5Mpix a autofocus camera. It would be nice if they'd release it as the 3G-enabled D988 Duos in Europe.
