Sony introduces the new N.U.D.E MDR-EX series Hybrid Silicon earbuds with 9mm neodymium sound drivers. The new MDR-EX series offers 6-23,000Hz frequency response, 100dB/mW pressure sensitivity, and a maximum output of 100mW.

Sony has released its new DR-BT140QP bluetooth earphones in Japan. They support A2DP audio profile, and provide up to 12 hours of music playback and a 200 hours of standby time. With these you can also answer incoming calls and control your music player wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Sony presents the DCR-SR45 Handycam digital camcorder that comes with a 30GB hard drive. The Sony DCR-SR45 features a 1/8? 680k pixel Advanced HAD CCD Imager, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 40x optical zoom lens, and 2000x digital zoom. It comes with an integrated zoom microphone for 5.1ch voice recording and a 2.7-inch LCD touchscreen display.

Sony announced its new PRS-505 ebook reader that supports the ePUB format, which the world’s first. The ePub format is the International Digital Publishing Forum’s XML-based standard format for reflowable digital books and publications.

This is a new Sony Walkman MP3 player that has been announced, called the Sony NWZ-B130F. Sony NWZ-B130F Available in 1GB or 2GB capacities, the Sony NWZ-B130F features a three-line LCD display, FM tuner, support for MP3 and PlayforSure WMA music files and 90 minutes of playback time.

Sony has announced two new pen drives with up to 16GB capacity and 31MB/s read transfer speeds in a compact and unique design. Both the MicroVault Click and Click Excellence ranges incorporate a neat ‘click’ design to uncover and retract the USB connector for quick and easy use. The MicroVault Click Excellence range is available in a stylish, compact, ivory design, complete with LED indicator display which illuminates while transferring the data.

Sony shows at the NAB its PMW-EX3 Full HD professional digital camcorder. Sony PMW-EX3 features 3 0.5-inch CCD image sensors, support for XDCAM HD EX recording, HS-SDI output and 24p support. The camcorder has dual SxS flash card slot and you can attach an external 60GB hard drive.

CNET has done a review on Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 digital SLR camera. The A350 features a 14.2 Megapixel Super HAD CCD sensor, ISO sensitivity up to 3200, Dust Reduction, optical image stabilizer and support for LCD live view.

Sony announced its HDVF-EL100, a professional HD camera with an OLED display. The HDVF-EL100 is Sony’s first non-consumer device to have an OLED display panel. The display has a rugged design for extreme environment and features a resolution of 960×540.

Sony announces its new HDR-TG1 Handycam, which claims to be the smallest Full HD camcorder in the world, measuring 1.3×4.7×2.5-inch. Sony HDR-TG1 is able to capture Full HD 1920×1080 videos or 4 Megapixel images.
