BenQ launches in Taiwan its new E55 3G mobile phone. The BenQ E55 is a clamshell with a 2-inch TFT LCD main display, a 1-inch CSTN LCD external display, a 2 Megapixel camera, a 0.3 Megapixel secondary camera for video calls.

BenQ has demonstrated a MID device at the IDF Shanghai. BenQ’s MID is powered by an Intel Silverthorone 800MHz processor, Poulsbo chipset, 512MB memory and 4GB of SSD. You can also expect HSDPA support, WiFi 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR connectivity. Voice command is also supported and you may also want to get the optional GPS feature.
