Sony officially announced the DMX-WL1 Wireless Link module to BRAVIA HDTV sets. Sony DMX-WL1 is a two-piece system that is able to transmit HD video and audio from up to five HD sources to BRAVIA HDTV, thanks to the WHDI technology. This set of Wireless module comprise of a receiver, which is to be attached to the back of TV and a transmitter that is used to connect with HD sources.

Sony introduces the new internal BWU-300S Blu-ray disc writer. The Sony BWU-300S is able to write single and dual layer BD-R media at up to 8X speed. The 8X recording speed is achieved using 6X compatible BD-R media.

Sony introduces the DR-BT160AS and DR-BT14Q Bluetooth Stereo Wireless Active stereo headphones. Sony DR-BT160AS has a easy to wear headset and comes with built-in microphone for hands-free calls from Bluetooth mobile phone.

The DR-BT160AS has a splashproof, street-smart design and it offers convenient controls on the side of the headset that can skip tracks and adjust volume.

Sony officially introduces its new Alpha A900, which is the world’s first DSLR to have a 24.6 effective Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor. Sony A900 is equipped with dual Sony BIONZ image processors for razor-sharp shooting responses, and outstanding image quality.

Sony introduces in Japan the HDR-FX1000 and HVR-Z5J DV-tape HD camcorders. Targeted at the high-end consumer market, Sony HDR-FX1000 has the 3 Clear Bit CMOS sensor, a 20x optical zoom G series lens and Sony’s Exmor image processor.

Sony presents the new VAIO JS series all-in-one desktop PC that has simplistic and stylish space-saving design. The VAIO JS comes with a 20.1-inch XBRITE HiColor TFT LCD display.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan officially announced its PlayStation-branded SOCOM Bluetooth headset (CEJH-15002), which will be available on 30 October in Japan with the “SOCOM:CONFRONTATION”.

This SOCOM PS3 headset supports Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, and features noise cancellation. It will automatically pair with your PS3 for online chatting within supported games.

Sony introduces in Japan the new BRAVIA XDV-W600, which is a portable 1Seg TV that is water resistant. Other than 1Seg digital TV reception, the BRAVIA XDV-W600 supports also FM and AM radio.

Sony shows us the KDL-40ZX1, the world’s thinnest LCD HDTV that is only 9.9mm thick. This 9.9mm 40-inch LCD HDTV features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz MotionFlow technology, Sony’s BRAVIA Engine 2 image processor, and the x.v.Color technology.

Sony introduces the new N.U.D.E MDR-EX series Hybrid Silicon earbuds with 9mm neodymium sound drivers. The new MDR-EX series offers 6-23,000Hz frequency response, 100dB/mW pressure sensitivity, and a maximum output of 100mW.
