Lenovo announces its ThinkPad USB Portable Secure Hard Drive that uses a numeric keypad allowing users to type in their passcode to access their data. Lenovo’s ThinkPad Secure drive is available in 160GB and 320GB capacities offering a secure way to protect sensitive data in a lightweight and easy-to-use design.

Hitachi announces the new Travelstar 5K500.B mobile hard drive that comes in 2.5-inch, 9.5-mm thick form factor. The Travelstar 5K500.B make use of the industry’s latest 250GB-per-platter technology to deliver a 500GB storage capacity. The Travelstar 5K500.B operates at 5400 RPM and utilize the SATA 3Gbps interface.
